Floral Filled Coastal Wedding in Maine with Rain

Carly & Dan’s wedding will forever be one of the most memorable days of our career. Despite the heaviest rain we’ve ever photographed, these two were set on an outdoor ceremony—and they did it. Surrounded by guests with umbrellas and the ocean in the background, they said “I do” in the pouring rain, and the joy on Carly’s face during the recessional said it all.

The magic didn’t stop there. Their sailcloth tent, designed by Pinch Me Planning and Field Floral, felt like a whimsical garden party, with vibrant blooms, signature cocktails, and music by Sounds Buono that kept the dance floor full all night. This day wasn’t just beautiful—it was a full circle moment for us, as Carly had been one of our labor & delivery nurses when our daughter Grey was born. Capturing her celebration of love was an honor we’ll never forget.
