Vendor Feature: Jen Cooper from Rise Medical Aesthetics

Today I'm so excited to be featuring my good friend Jen Cooper from Rise Medical Aesthetics (aka @jenthern_). When thinking about your wedding vendors you likely only think of the vendors who are there day-of, but there are so many other professionals who provide services that make you feel and look your best leading up to your big day. Jen offers a range of services to address your individual concerns and goals. Currently, I've been seeing Jen for microneedling with PRP to reduce my postpartum acne scars and have already seen a difference.

If you're interested in working with Jen to create a custom bridal package leading up to your big day, mention our name for an extra bonus!

Let's dive into a Q&A...

Q: Tell us a little bit about you & your business:

A: After working as a nurse in the ICU for years, I transitioned into aesthetic medicine three years ago. I started my business in New England after moving from Maryland to Maine in 2021. I have built up an incredible clientele and feel so lucky to do what I love every day.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: My favorite part of aesthetic medicine is the fact that it is a combination of art and science. I can use my anatomy knowledge and past education to provide safe treatments while also working with each person to achieve their individual goals.

Q: How early do you suggest clients begin working with you before their wedding day?

A: The best time to start preparing is a year (12 months) from your wedding date. By creating a game plan together, we can utilize each treatment over time to create subtle and natural results prior to your wedding day.

Q: What is one thing you wish more people knew about aesthetics?

A:  Aesthetic treatments don’t have to make you look fake. The goal of aesthetic medicine is to enhance individual features with subtle and natural changes over time.

Q: What types of services do you offer?

A: I offer a wide range of services: neurotoxins, fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, kybella, and IV therapy - head on over to my website to learn more about each individual service.

Q: What is the process like working with you?

A: I start out every appointment with a full consultation, assessment, and history. We discuss your goals, timeline, expectations and budget during the consultation. Then I create a customized plan, which could utilize multiple treatments and modalities to ultimately achieve your goal. I am very passionate about listening to you and working together so that you feel comfortable and properly educated every step of the way.
